Sub Carapacea de RaC

Dacă vă spun că ieri, 28 Decembrie am plecat pe bicicletă până la Piatra Neamț probabil că veți avea reacții de genul: Cum?? Să pleci pe bicicletă în Decembrie așa departe?? Pe vremea asta?? (de ieri, nu de azi)? Cu bicicleta aia cu roți atât de subțiri?? If I were to tell you that yesterday, December 28th  I cycled to Piatra Neamț (a city located 47 km away from my home city) and back, you might say to me that it's a crazy thing to do, in this time of year, so far and specially on that race bike with thin tires and wheels. Dar dacă ar fi să vă spun că de fapt ieri am pedalat nu 6 ore (cât am făcut până acolo și îanpoi data trecută ) ci 12 ore și că cineva a alergat cot la cot cu mine până la Piatra Neamț și înapoi, plus încă ceva .. mai precis 100km într-o singură zi, atunci vi se mai pare o așa mare nebunie ideea de a pedala până la Piatra și înapoi?  Nu prea, nu? But if I were to tell you that I did not cycle 6 hours (the time that my last trip to Piatra took) but...

În weekendul prelungit de la finalul lunii noiembrie, am participat la o frumoasă tură în Munții Ciucului ce a venit la pachet cu un EventCache. Pentru mine asta a fost picătura ce a umplut paharul. Spun asta fiindcă mai mult ca sigur nu aș fi plecat la munte dacă nu era pentru geocaching. In the extended weekend* from the end of November , I went in a beautiful trip in the Ciuc Mountains, a trip that came packed with a EventCache. For me that was the drop that spilled the cup, since most likely I wouldn't have joined the trip if it wasn't for geocaching.  * on December 1 it's Romania's National Day, which is a non-working day, This year, Dec 01 was on a Monday, ergo an „extended weekend”. The event was called „National day Group Hug” and you can find it here
